World Bank Seminar
03.03.2016 from 10:45 to 14:00
Conference
Danish Agriculture & Food Council invites you to a breakfast session with Director Augusto Lopez Claros from the World Bank. We will get an introduction to the World Bank’s new report Enabling the Business of Agriculture 2016: Comparing regulatory good practices, which was released on 28 January. In this new report, the World Bank identifies regulations and policies that affect the market and private enterprise in agribusiness across 40 countries. The report brings up new interesting perspectives such as the conclusion that countries where agriculture accounts for less than 25 percent of GDP have better regulatory systems that foster agribusiness and ensure quality control and safety of food production. Come and meet the World Bank team and join the discussions. The breakfast session takes place at Axelborg, Thursday 3 March at 8.30-10.30.
